Our story

From humble beginnings in Newcastle to expanding our product offering across Australia, we’re proud of our ovesco heritage and are as committed to delivering the highest quality products as we were over five decades ago.

1971 - began trading as O’Neill’s Equipment in Newcastle

Tired of the limited products and poor service from Sydney suppliers, our founder, Wilton O’Neill decided to bridge the gap himself. His philosophy was simple: carry stock on the shelf and provide efficient, reliable service.

2001 - from O’Neill’s to ovesco

Over the years, our commitment to these principles led to steady growth and a diverse clientele. In 2001, then-owner Peter O'Neill proudly changed our name to ovesco, reflecting our evolution and expanding customer base across Australia.

2007 - the launch of our website

The year 2007 marked a significant milestone when we entered the world of digital. This online platform opened the doors for a broader population to access ovesco's products and services, furthering our reach and impact. We then joined the Bulbeck Group in 2015.
