What is a barrel lock?
A barrel lock consists of a cylindrical barrel-shaped plug containing a series of pins that align with a corresponding set of driver pins when the correct key is inserted and turned. This alignment allows the plug to rotate, retracting or extending a bolt or latch to secure or release the closure.
