Shaft Lock Pins, also known as Shaft Locking Pins and Retaining D Clips, are used to secure the ends of shafts where there is a risk of the clip falling off or vibrating loose.
The Shaft Lock Pin is opened by pulling the wired section from the shaft, and is secured when the straight section of the Pin is inserted into a pre-drilled hole in a shaft, then secured using the wired section.
This Shaft Lock Pin is made from zinc plated steel, has a pin thickness of 8mm (5/16"), suits a maximum shaft thickness of 56mm and has a radius of 35mm.
